John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus Christ was speaking to the Jews that gathered together to listen to His teachings and He told them that it is only the truth that they know that will make them free. Freedom from whatsoever bondage man can talk of.

This was the case of the woman that was caught in the very act of adultery in the preceding verses of the anchor Scripture of John 8. Though guilty, when she met with the truth – Jesus, she was made free.

This is the same situation that applies to us here on earth. Knowing the truth and living by it makes life so easy.

Oftentimes, we suffer not because there’s no solution but because we don’t know there’s a solution.

The Bible says we shall know the TRUTH and the truth shall set us free.

Sometimes we fight the wrong people and get troubled over nothing because we don’t know the freedom that’s available to us.

Some suffer from sickness and even die from it because they don’t know that Christ has paid in full for their health. Others spend time and years punishing and depriving themselves of the good life available in Christ because they think that’s a way to pay for their sins. If only they know that Christ has suffered and died for all that, and there’s no more condemnation to them.

This is a call to know the truth from God’s Word. Start by knowing Jesus. He’s the TRUTH John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Freedom comes from knowing Him John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
