Sure Peace

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Have you ever wondered where on earth one can ever have peace? Peace is one of the most desired virtues of life, yet it is not what can be purchased with money. Many people would pay whatever monetary value to get it if they can buy peace. Sometimes we think we could have peace when we settle some debts and meet our needs. However, this peace doesn’t last because the world is full of varying troubles. Even if one is free from physical worries, what about spiritual worries orchestrated by a lack of peace with God? Hence, we must embrace the word of our Lord Jesus, who said He gave us PEACE that is uncommon and everlasting. The kind of Peace that Jesus gives, is SURE PEACE.

This SURE PEACE is an all-round peace. It first comes as PEACE with GOD, whereby you are no longer condemned as a sinner, but free from the punishment of sins through the cleansing blood of JESUS. It proceeds with PEACE WITHIN, in which there is an inner feeling of peace without any fear irrespective of what is going on around you. Sure PEACE from Jesus also gives us the ability to live peacefully with people around us. Imagine a life full of PEACE and no worries or grudges! Only Christ Jesus can give SURE PEACE.

Do you have faith in Jesus?

Do you even know who this Jesus is?

Have you encountered Him such that you can trust and believe in Him?

Beloved, your faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to you and He now declares you flawless in His sight. This means you can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what the Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for you.

Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 

The world today is full of suicidal stories, depression, fear, and worries, but you need not be among the numbers.

All you need is an encounter with the one who has your blueprint in His hands: The Lord Jesus, trust in Him, have your faith in Him and your heart will not have to be troubled neither will it be afraid.

Prayer Point.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, have mercy on me and let the joy of the Lord be my strength giving me all round Peace which only you can give. In Jesus’ name, I pray (amen).
