Separate the Light from Darkness
Perhaps, the most important step taken in Genesis chapter one was the separation of LIGHT from DARKNESS. God did this before He continued His creation and so must we.
Genesis 1:4 – God saw the light, that it was good, and God divided the light from the darkness.
When darkness is mixed up with light, vision is vague and the destination becomes uncertain. We learn from our Father that how we treat darkness may be highly connected to how far we will ever accomplish in life.
The first step is thus knowing where the darkness is so we can rid ourselves of it.
The definition of darkness is a bit uncertain, we might as well define it as the opposite of what light is; Jesus is light. It means whatever Jesus isn’t involved with, is darkness. It also means that wherever the presence of Jesus is not wanted, we know it is a dark place.
John 12:46 – I am come as a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
To create all that our hearts desire this year, let us stay off the works of darkness and its suggestions.
When the darkness is away from the light, we will have the courage to create our world just like our Father did in Genesis chapter one, after which He RESTED.
