You are not Inferior

We live in a world in which almost anything can be compared relative to another. There is a fierce comparison among people of different races, social statuses, ages, religions, and cultures, and the list is exhaustive. It seems comparison is the main reason why many people wallow in an inferiority complex, knowingly or unknowingly. I have had to deal with an inferiority complex in many areas of my life. I felt so withdrawn when I look at the endless list of people who SEEMS better than I am. But what changed?

My freedom from an inferiority complex began when I started placing my attention on the word of God.

Job said, “What you know, I also know; I am not inferior to you.” (Job 13:2)

The truth is, what makes you inferior is not outside of you but inside you. Your true worth is not in the downgrading words of men but in the way God sees you.

Psalms 8:4-5 “What is the man that You are mindful of him. And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honour.”

Do you know that God has never let you out of his mind?

Zachariah 2:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory, He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.”

Do you know you are the apple of God’s eye?

Colossians 1:12 “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:”

Do you know that you are so loved by God that he gave you an inheritance in Him?

Romans 8:15-17 “For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our Spirit that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

Do you know that you have the same Spirit, which was also in Christ? Even the devil can attest to the higher life that we have in Christ, and therefore, he will always introduce lies and wrong beliefs into the hearts of men. he did that in the garden of Eden. But the Bible says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”

If you cannot confidently answer any of the questions above, you need to take God’s word seriously.

The Word of God Is the Antidote to every Inferiority Complex as a believer.

You are not defined by the world’s standard but by God’s standard as found in His Word

BELIEVE WHOM GOD SAYS YOU ARE, BELIEVE WHAT GOD SAYS YOU CAN DO, BELIEVE WHAT GOD SAYS IS YOURS…………. KEEP BELIEVING.
