There is Hope for You
“For there is hope for a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again and that its tender branch will not cease.”- Job 14:7
What is hope? It is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. It is to expect something beneficial in the future. It is also defined as an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes concerning events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large.
The truth is that our world is in chaos and jeopardy, everything is in absolute disarray, but people still have hope amidst the chaotic situations. The reality is that, unfortunately, the hope of many has been dashed severally. Hopelessness is becoming the order of the day for both the rich and the less privileged; suicide is on the rampage, and people are running from pillar to post seeking help where there seems to be none. But friend, there is a way out.
Yes! You heard me well. There is a way out of your hopelessness. Your current situation and circumstance are not expected to mark your end. If there is hope for an ordinary tree, how much more are you, created and formed in the image of God Almighty? Listen, God took His time in His infinite wisdom to sculpt you uniquely and fantastically. You are of the truth, God-edited version. So, if God can love a tree to reserve hope for it then your hope is guaranteed. A life without an assurance of hope is devastating but there is only one source of assured hope and that is Christ in You. The scripture says Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)
All that God expects from you is to yield and accept His clarion invitation, “Come unto Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”. Matthew 11:28. Dear friend, the ball is in your court, the choice is yours; come to Jesus today, just as you are, He is the hope personified. Your hope is in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7. Accept Jesus today and you will live a life full of hope evermore.
Kindly, declare with me: LORD JESUS, I come to You today simply as I am a sinner; I confess that I am deeply sorry. Forgive me, come into my life today as my LORD, SAVIOUR, and KING to rule and reign in my heart forever. Amen.
