Beloved
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
The worth of a jewel is what the buyer is willing to pay. The worth is never in the price tag placed by the seller but in what the buyer sees and what he is willing to do to have it. If the buyer assumes the jewel isn’t worth the price, he would likely let go and look for another pearl.
The entire human race is lost and requires a price to be bought back. After Adam fell into sin, every of his offspring including us was condemned and alienated from God. We became sinners not because of our sins but because we were born into sin. Sin became our inheritance and we became slaves to the devil.
However, to redeem us from condemnation which includes eternal death, God came to our rescue and paid the price for our redemption. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For your redemption, the price was His Son’s life. Guess what, your life\’s redemption is worth the life of the Son of God. Your salvation was highly costly, yet God went ahead and paid for it in full. He paid with His Son’s life, and that\’s your worth. Don’t see yourself as a worthless person, you mean so much to God. Romans 8:32 says He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
You are God’s beloved, you are God’s priceless jewel. Whatever you are going through at this time, God knows and cares so much about you. He will make all things work together for your good according to His purpose. If He did not hold back His son’s life from being sacrificed for your sake, He would not hold any of His blessings from you.
So, don’t give up on Him, beloved.
