Stewardship
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10
Stewardship is the act of referencing God and committed to serving God with your possession. And this is why Jesus told us that our works will be tested with fire at the end.
God has invested resources in everyone and expects a genuine service in return. We all have a part in the moving train of the gospel, we are useful and needed as every individual is wonderfully made by God to live for his glory. 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) ”Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
Hezekiah’s story is considered one of the best stories of stewardship, he was able to elongate his years on Earth because his service unto God was notable.
We express our love and gratitude to God by committing ourselves to his service.

In Mark 10:45, our Lord Jesus said “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Jesus taught us through his ministry to serve without relenting. You can ask yourself the following questions;
- In what way are you serving the Lord?
- How committed are you to the king’s business?
Think about this, can your work withstand fire?
WAYS TO SERVE GOD
- Care for the needy
- Church Services (Use your skills, strength and resources for God)
- Witness: Mark 16:15-16 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
- By serving others
- Disciple and help other people grow in faith
- Give Counsel
In Conclusion, we are co labourers, with a special assignment, to populate the kingdom of God and live for the glory of God.
