His Promise is Not a Joke

“Believe me that I am in the father, and the father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father. And whatever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do; the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” – John 14:11-14 KJV

God has promised us great things and the assurance that He will do anything we ask in His name. What an open cheque we have in Christ Jesus! If we ask anything in His name, He will do it so that God’s name will be glorified in our lives.

Here is it, is there anything or power that can stop Him? If God says He will settle your situation, do you think your situation is too big for Him?

Numbers 23:19 KJV affirms that “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?”

This is the good news; nothing is impossible with Him; all things are possible with God. Your challenges and troubles are not difficult for God to resolve, bring it all to Him, and trust His words and name. Ask the Father to help you out in Jesus’ name, and your miracle will rain. Hold onto the promises He has given you; He will surely do what He says He will do; when the time is right, He will make it happen (Isaiah 60:22).

When He said, “If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it,” He meant it. He can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. God has a lot of promises for you, and He’s going to fulfill every one of them because He does not joke with His words.
