When a man enjoys rest from the Lord, they experience freedom from confusion, worry, stress, and all forms of emotional and spiritual disturbances. However, this experience comes when you allow the Lord Jesus in your heart, submit to Him, and dwell in His presence.
Draw strength from God
Drawing strength from God is not a difficult task. All we need is to get closer enough, open our hearts to God, and listen. Don’t be ashamed to bring your weakness before God.
The Way of Escape
We should understand that Christians are not immune from the challenges of life. We face many of them always. God can provide a way of escape from every temptation. Don’t give up, He has not forgotten you; He will make a way of escape.
The Crying Dead
Don’t wait until you are dead before you reset the essential step you ought to have taken while alive like the dead rich man who was begging for an opportunity to come back to recount his story. This day is your day of decision.
DO NOT BE LIKE A MULE
Come to his presence willingly not grudgingly but of necessity.
Slaves of God
We are now new in Christ. We can no longer obey our fleshly lust or do things as it pleases us. We are now slaves, not of sin, but of God. That means that the way we gave ourselves freely to sin, we must give ourselves freely to righteous living.
