Psalm 139:14 KJV
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
The scriptures above made it clear how fearful and wonderful God created us and how marvellous the works of God are. This portion of the Bible is a description and a replica of you.
Do you know that you are a living wonder? Take a moment, put your hand on your chest and feel your heartbeat. Can you feel the beat? You surely can.
Do you know that your heart had started beating like that even before you were born? Do you know that the beats could continue for a hundred and more years without taking a break of one minute? Yes, it can. This, indeed, is a miracle!
Can you now imagine how much it would cost to power an electricity-generating machine for a day, a week, or possibly a month without interruption? Aside from the gasoline fee, it would require a lot of maintenance to keep it running 24/7 for the whole period it had worked. Many manufacturers will always recommend some period of rest for their machinery to prevent breakdown. So there you are, working for long days without fueling or maintenance.
The Psalmist couldn’t stop wondering about the wonders God did in man, and he asked, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:” (Psalm 8:4-6 KJV).
It is crystal clear that you are God’s handiwork, a living miracle. God cares for you, and He’s mindful of you. He has deep concerns and plans for you. Your entire being is a living testimony of the miracle of God.
What do you give in return to this God?
- Accept the salvation He freely gives through His only son Jesus Christ.
- Live a life according to His dictates and mandate.
- Live a life of worship.
Finally, live your life with the assurance that the miracle-working God is alive and can still bring forth the miracle you are looking forward to. Every time you feel your heartbeat, know with conviction that the God of all miracles is not done with you yet because you are a living testimony of His goodness, and as such, your testimonies are on the way. Your miracle is not over.
