JUST HIS CLOTH

Matt 9:20-22
20 Then a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the hem of his clothes.
21 She thought, If I only touch his robe I’ll be healed.
22 When Jesus turned and saw her, he said, “Be encouraged, daughter. Your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that time on

Have you ever wondered, why that woman with the issue of blood was targeting the garment of Jesus and not the entirety of Jesus’ attention? Someone who had gone to many physicians and could not be healed; looking for just the cloth? Does that not sound rather senseless?

She probably knew so many people would be present and was just looking for a means of getting to Jesus while some people at that meeting might have been waiting to see Jesus after his ministration. They may not have had that opportunity eventually. She sought for just the cloth, but she got the whole of Jesus.

These are the lessons learnt from her story:
1) If you seek Jesus, you will find Him.
2) Be intentional when you are in the presence of God: God looks at the heart.
3) Don’t be discouraged about your past failure; take a step of faith and try a new solution.
4) Don’t be ashamed to proclaim your faith publicly.

Your miracle is settled. You only need to take the step of faith to grab it. This is your time of visitation!
