Praying always with all prayers and supplication in the spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints -Ephesians 6:18

There are times throughout the day that the privilege to kneel, stop over and say words of prayers is not there, the time to stretch is not available, probably on a journey, you got stuck, got busy; all you need is to breath prayers-speak life.

You have woken up early enough to do your usual devotions and study the word of God, but it doesn\’t stop there, your can pray as you go about the day\’s activities.

As you regularly speak to your spouse or close pal, engaging your maker in a conversation is equally important. God\’s initial plan is smooth communication with His children.  That is why the scriptures admonish us to commune with our heavenly father- CEASELESS PRAYERS.

1Thessa 5:7 Pray without ceasing.

But how can you pray without stopping in this busy world? Here are some tips.

  1. Pray at every opportunity- You may be stuck in the traffic, put on your earpiece, turn off the radio and talk to your maker. Please get rid of all worries in your mind and hand them over to the One that can do something about them. Your prayers serve as the stabilizing factor that keeps you calm and in contact with your Savior throughout the day. Have a continual conversation, belief and know that He walks and works with you, for He does and talks to Him that way.
  1. Pray with the Word of God- The most powerful and effective communication with our maker is the use of the scriptures. Therefore, speak the word of God, for it is life.

Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  1. Trust God for who He is – He wants to be near to you and to help you, to strengthen and to stabilize you and bring you unspeakable joy! Thereby, He longs to be part of your life. He is a caring father. However, if you are yet to accept Him as your Father, Lord and Saviour, you can start by humbling submitting yourself to Him. Just tell Him that you are offering your life to the Lord and start fellowshipping with Him.
  2. Thanksgiving is Prayer- sometimes we don\’t see thanksgiving as prayer, but that is what it is. Giving thanks to God and praising Him for His faithfulness draw him near to us. In fact, the scriptures say, God inhabits the praise of His people. So Paul, in 1Thessalonians 5:18, said,  In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  Therefore, cultivate the habit of giving thanks to God through singing and all forms of thanksgiving endeavours.
